The percentage of poor people in September 2024 will be 4.02 percent, down 0.09 percentage points against March 2024. 

• The number of poor people in September 2024 will be 180.20 thousand people, reduced by 3.1 thousand people by March 2024. 
• The percentage of poor people in urban areas has decreased from 3.62 percent to 3.59 percent, and the percentage of poor people in rural areas fell from 4.61 percent to 4.46 percent. 
• Compared to March 2024, the number of poor people in September 2024 in urban areas increased by 0.3 thousand people (from 80.92 thousand people in March 2024 to 81.22 thousand people in September 2024). 
• Meanwhile, in the same period, the number of poor rural residents decreased by 3.4 thousand people (from 102.39 thousand people in March 2024 to 98.98 thousand people in September 2024).
