Economic Growth in Fourth Quarter of 2024 in Kalimantan Selatan Province

Abstract

The economy of Kalimantan Selatan Province based on the size of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in 2024 reached IDR 286.82 trillion and at constant prices in 2010 reached IDR 156.76 trillion.
The economy of Kalimantan Selatan Province in 2024 experienced growth of 5.05 percent compared to 2023 (c-to-c). From the production side, the Accommodation and Food and Beverage Provision business sector experienced the highest growth, reaching 8.07 percent. From the expenditure side, the LNPRT Consumption Expenditure Expenditure component experienced the highest growth, reaching 13.61 percent.
The economy of Kalimantan Selatan Province in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the fourth quarter of 2023 experienced growth of 5.15 percent (y-on-y). From the production side, the Accommodation and Food and Beverage Provision business sector experienced the highest growth, reaching 9.35 percent. From the expenditure side, the LNPRT Consumption Expenditure component experienced the highest growth, reaching 6.91 percent.
The Kalimantan Selatan Province economy in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the third quarter of 2024 (q-to-q) experienced a contraction of -0.27 percent. From the production side, the Construction business sector experienced the highest growth, reaching 11.69 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the highest growth was experienced by the Government Consumption Expenditure component, at 21.45 percent
