President Joko Widodo explained that there will be five aspects that will be the government's priorities that will be worked on during his second term of leadership with Vice President Ma'ruf Amin. The five aspects are human resource development (HR), infrastructure development, simplification of all forms of regulation, simplification of the bureaucracy, and five economic transformations. Where the main priority is the development of quality human resources who are hardworking, dynamic, skilled, master science and technology, and invite global talents to work together.
The development of quality human resources can help Indonesia get out of a row of middle income countries. This is done by optimizing the potential demographic bonus currently experienced by Indonesia. Optimization is carried out in various fields, such as fulfilling additional dietary nutrition in the field of health, moral ethics education, anti-drugs, and disaster in education, as well as increasing the competence of the workforce in the field of manpower. However, this poses a risky challenge for the government. The number of productive age population which is more than the unproductive age must be accompanied by careful preparation so that other problems do not occur that are detrimental to the state.
Apart from human resources, another focus is on infrastructure development in Indonesia. One side of development that continues to be the government's flagship program. Infrastructure is considered as a foundation for competing with other countries. Infrastructure development is also useful for creating jobs, new economic growth points, improving logistics networks, and providing public services for the community. Where infrastructure development will also help build a better civilization.
